To apply for a grant...
Applying for your grant will be done online.
When we grant funding to an organization, we follow these basic guidelines:
• Your goals align with the AWS Foundation’s mission
• Your request emphasizes innovative, new approaches that address the needs of people with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
• Your request meets the specific focus of each grant cycle (see above for current focus)
We will not fund individuals, support fundraising activities of other organizations or support religious activities. If you have questions about how your grant request aligns with our guidelines, please give call us.
Here's what's involved:
Read through all the requirements for your application. We have listed all the required documents at the bottom of this page and a downloadable PDF (to the right). We suggest you download the Checklist PDF to help you prepare all the required documents and forms.
Prepare all required documents before beginning your application. Take your time. It’s important that you describe the purpose of your grant request well and show the Foundation that you will use the money responsibly.
When everything is prepared, begin the application. All documents must be uploaded through this web site. We accept many file formats, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, etc.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your documents have been uploaded to AWSF. If something is missing from your application, we will contact you so you can provide it. Otherwise, grant recipients will be notified according to the grant calendar.
Great! If you have everything you need, click the button below to get started.
